Two men were arrested on Friday after detectives seized three parcels of a white powdery substance, believed to be cocaine, during an operation along the Tower Isle main road in St. Mary.
The police, from the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID), intercepted and searched two motor vehicles.
The suspected cocaine was reportedly found inside a white Toyota Corolla Fielder, hidden behind the front passenger seat on the vehicle floor.
Nothing illegal was found in the second vehicle.
However, more than $600,000 in cash was confiscated after the occupants allegedly failed to properly account for the funds.
The men were arrested and both vehicles seized.
