Two JDF soldiers among five injured in Kingston crash

 
Two members of the Jamaica Defence Force were among five people who sustained injuries during a two-vehicle collision in downtown Kingston on Friday morning. 
 
The mishap, which occurred about 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Harbour Street and Hanover Street, involved a JDF service vehicle and a Honda motor car. 
 
Video footage of the accident showing the two JDF personnel motionless has been circulating on social media. 
 
Investigators are probing reports that one of the drivers disobeyed the traffic light at the intersection and this caused the crash. 
 
The JDF service vehicle and the Honda were extensively damaged. 
 
The injured individuals are transported to hospital for treatment.
