Two persons were killed after being struck by lightning this afternoon in the community of Kemysham in St. Elizabeth.
They have been identified as 14 year old Ricardo Fisher, a resident of Kemysham, and 30 year old Sheldon Cain, who was from Mineral Heights in Clarendon.
Residents told Radio Jamaica's correspondent that both individuals were picking pears when lightning struck about 3 o'clock.
They were injured and died at the scene.
