The Manchester Police have identified the victims of last night's deadly crash involving two public passenger vehicles along the Winston Jones Highway.
They are Wayne Morris of Christiana, Manchester; Darley Clark of Spaulding, Clarendon; and Fabian Uter of Cobbla, Manchester.
Mr. Morris worked as an orderly at Mandeville Regional Hospital.
Eleven other people were injured in the crash which occurred about 9 p.m. and involved two public passenger vehicles — a Toyota Wish and a Toyota Succeed.
It's reported that the two vehicles were descending the highway when the driver of the Toyota Wish lost control of the vehicle which crashed into the rear of the Toyota Succeed.
The Toyota Wish flipped over several times, resulting in severe injuries to its passengers.
Three of them were pronounced dead at hospital.
Mayor of Mandeville, Donovan Mitchell, who was travelling on the roadway at the time of the crash, said speeding may have been a contributing factor.
He urged motorists to "take their time on the road" to prevent crashes.
