What's the National Export Strategy?

The Government of Jamaica on Thursday launched the country's National Export Strategy Two, with the aim of boosting exports as a means of economic growth.

The strategy targets the areas of  manufacturing, mining, agro-processing, information and communications technology, and the creative industries.

Diane Edwards, President of Jampro, the country's investment promotion arm, spoke with RJR's Dionne Jackson Miller on Beyond the Headlines, explaining elements of the strategy.
