One woman is dead and a man was injured in a collision along Michael Manley Boulevard in Kingston on Monday.
The identity of the woman has not yet been released.
It's reported that the woman was pillion on a motorcycle being driven by the man along a section of the roadway, heading towards Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard.
About 12:20 pm, the motorcyclist reportedly attempted to get between a truck and a Honda CRV, when the driver of the Honda made a lane change to overtake the truck and ended up hitting the motorcycle.
The two persons on the motorcycle were then run over by the truck. They were taken to hospital where the woman was pronounced dead.
