Antigua & Barbuda: CIP funds to be used for youth engagement

The Antigua & Barbuda Government is to redirect funds from the Citizenship by Investment Programme to youth engagement.
Among the plans being pursued are the development of sports clubs, in a bid to reduce youth violence, particularly among young men.
The Government says it hopes to reduce anti-social behaviour and increase community connectivity with young people.
It shelved its original plan for a national youth service corps, made up of youth who run afoul of the law, after talks with the National Defence Force.
