The Trinidad-based Caribbean Centre for Human Rights Monday said it has launched in-house strategic litigation services, aimed at empowering vulnerable communities and individuals by providing direct legal representation in cases of systemic human rights violations.
The CCHR says, with an in-house legal team, it aims to strengthen its advocacy efforts by using the courts to challenge injustices, promote accountability, and create meaningful legal precedents.
CCHR executive director Mary J. Marsden said this initiative reflects the organisation's "unwavering commitment to ensuring access to justice."
