Justice Michael de la Bastide
Justice Michael de la Bastide, a former President of the Caribbean Court of Justice, is dead.
Justice de la Bastide, who was 86, passed away in his native Trinidad & Tobago lSaturday morning.
He served as president of the CCJ from its inception in 2004 to 2011.
Justice de la Bastide was also a former Chief of Justice of Trinidad & Tobago and President of the Law Association of Trinidad & Tobago.
