Tropical Cyclone 18 set to intensify, Cayman Islands issues hurricane warning

Tropical Cyclone 18 is forecast to strengthen today as it moves across the Western Caribbean and becomes a tropical depression.

Cayman Islands Deputy Governor, Franz Manderson, said the country is under a hurricane warning, which means that hurricane conditions could impact it within 36 hours.

He says the National Hazard Management Executive met to review and prepare for the storm's potential impact.
