The West Indies XI reached 273-7 in their first innings at stumps against the Pakistan Shaheens on the opening day of their 3-day tour match in Islamabad.
Amir Jangoo 29 and Joshua da Silva 11, were the not out batters at the close. Alick Athanaze has so far top scored with 98 including 15 fours and 1 six.
Captain Kraigg Brathwaite and Mikyle Louis also made 32 each. Keacy Carty contributed 22 and Kavem Hodge 17.
The West Indians are using the match as warm-up for the first test against Pakistan starting on January 16 in Multan.
