Bonner omitted from Jamaica Scorpions Super 50 squad

The Jamaica Cricket Association on Tuesday announced the Jamaica Scorpions squad for the upcoming Super50 Cup. However, while there was interest around the make-up of the squad, lead selector Delroy Morgan did little to clarify some pressing matters. Former West Indies batsman Nkrumah Bonner has been omitted.

Bonner who was denied a no objection certificate to play in the Atlanta Open T20 tournament, had given up his central contract with the Scorpions.

Meanwhile, the likes of batsmen Odane McCatty and Javell Glenn who are in the Super50 squad were not given the nod for the JCA contract. The squad will be led by John Campbell.
