Outstanding national junior distance runner Kemoy Campbell has secured a full scholarship to attend Oklahoma Christian University in the United States.
However, while securing the scholarship to attend Oklahoma Christian, the national junior 1,500 and 5,000 metres record holder explained to RJR Sports that he will be only be spending a year at that institution.
“It’s one year at Oklahoma Christian then I transfer to Oklahoma State University to do the veterinarian programme,” Campbell said.
He ended his season at the world junior championships in Canada in July, where he failed to advance from the heats of the 1,500 metres.
Since then, the 2010 NACAC cross country junior champion says he has been trying to prepare for college.
