Defending champions Cavalier failed to make progress from the group stage of the CONCACAF Caribbean Cup after losing 2-1 away to Weymouth Wales FC of Barbados on Wednesday. Armando Lashley’s 10th minute strike and Rommel Bynoe in added time secured all three points for Weymouth.
Cavaliers' consolation was scored by Darly Massicot in the 13th minute. Cavalier ended the group in 4th on four points.
However, the win was not enough to send Weymouth to the next round, as they finished on 7 points, the same as second placed Defence Force who progressed courtesy of a plus one goal difference. Defence Force had a 2-0 win against group leaders Cibao FC in their encounter.
