When the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) announced its 22 player squad to face Chile in the FIFA window later this month, there was the noticeable absence of the senior Reggae Girlz who took part in the 2023 World Cup.

However, JFF general secretary Dennis Chung says it's not the fault of the federation. The squad for the two match friendly tour of Chile has two World Cup representatives but they are from the squad of 2019.

According to Chung, contact was made with the players who continue to say they are not available.

The Reggae Girlz will assemble in Chile on February 21 before playing two matches against that nation on February 23 and 27.
