Dacres takes conservative approach to preparation for Paris Olympics

World Championships silver medallist Fedrick Dacres says he's taking a conservative approach to competition this year as he prepares for the Olympic Games in Paris, France this summer, competing recently at the UWI Volleyball Champions League.

He was voted most improved player at the tournament. The 29 year old used the event as part of his background preparation for the Olympics.

Dacres recently opened his season, throwing 64.49 metres at the King of the Ring meet at Excelsior High School.
