Decision still pending regarding resumption of schoolboy football

A decision is still pending from the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA), regarding the possible resumption of the 2025  schoolboy football season. This follows a meeting of the ISSA executive on Friday night.

When contacted about the outcome of the meeting, ISSA  president Keith Wellington told Radio Jamaica Sports the meeting was over, but said there was nothing to report. Wellington added that decision making at ISSA involves a process and protocols.

Both the Manning and DaCosta Cup competitions, which were at the round of 16 stage, were postponed due to the recent passage of Hurrcicane Melissa.
