World Championship silver medallist and national long jump record holder Tajay Gayle says he is enjoying life at Ricketts Performance after joining the club following his split with the MVP Track Club last year.
Gayle who won silver at the recently-held World Championships in Tokyo, had previously won two global outdoor medals while at MVP, including the 2019 gold in Doha.
Speaking on the Sports Chambers podcast, Gayle said he felt training at MVP was getting too harsh and that he was also not being afforded enough time for recovery.
However, Gayle admitted that he and MVP founding head coach Stephen Francis still share a good relationship and that it was the renowned coach who actually suggested that he join the Kerrylee Ricketts-led club.
