Henry performs creditably at Peru International

Jamaica's top badminton men's singles player, Gareth Henry is back home after reaching the round of 16 at the 21st Peru International.

Henry, whose current world ranking is 193rd, missed out on the quarter-finals after losing to Austria's David Obernosterer 21-13, 21-17.

Obernosterer was the runner-up at the recent Jamaica International 2016. Henry's participation followed a week of training in Peru, in the Pan Am Confederation- sponsored training program for elite badminton players.
