Jamaica secure first win at CONCACAF women's U17 qualifiers

Jamaica secured their first victory at the CONCACAF Under-17 women's round one qualifiers after blanking hosts Aruba 2-0 in Group "D" on Tuesday evening. After a 0-0 first half, Ricquanna Richards opened the scoring in the 46th minute.

Substitute Elizabeth Miller added the second in the 62nd minute. In the other group game, Honduras hammered St Vincent and the Grenadines 15-0. 

The young Reggae Girlz are second in the group, on four points, behind leaders Honduras on 6 points. The Jamaicans will next be in action on Thursday against St Vincent and the Grenadines.
