Jamaican-branded Citroen debuts at Monte Carlo Rally

The sporting fraternity continues to raise awareness in the recovery efforts for Jamaica following the devastation brought on by the passage of Hurricane Melissa, last October.

At the just concluded Monte Carlo Rally, Filippo Marchino's Citroën carried the Jamaican colours in Monte Carlo in a fundraising effort.

Chairman of the Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club (JMMC), Stephen Gunter told Radio Jamaica Sports he and Marchinho are friends and after seeing each other at a few Formula One events, as well as the FIA General Assembly and Awards and speaking on the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, Marchino reached out wanting to help.
