Jamaica's U19 women's cricketers beat Barbados by 7 wickets to secure their first win at the CWI T20 competition being played at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground in St Augustine, Trinidad.
Chasing 92 for victory, the young Jamaicans posted 94-3 off 18.5 overs. Abigail Bryce top scored with 40 not out. Chrishana McKenzie also made 14.
Earlier, the Bajans posted 91-1. Asabi Callender top scored with 31, while Naijanni Cumberbatch made 29.
Jamaica's U19 women who had lost their first three matches will next face the Leeward Islands U19 women on Thursday at the Brian Lara Academy.
