Defending Manning Cup champions Kingston College kicked off their season with a 3-0 win against former champions Charlie Smith in the late game at the Stadium East Field.
Deshawn Byfield netted in the 64th minute, while Sharieff Ricketts scored in minutes 75 and 84. KC are also the defending Olivier Shield winners.
Earlier, a Daniel Scott double gave Garvey Maceo High a positive start the defence of their DaCosta Cup with three points after their 3-0 victory against Foga Road at the Stadium East Field. Scott netted in the 1st minute of play.
Scott doubled his tally and their advantage in the 24th minute. The win was sealed in the 65th minute with Rajay McLaughlin getting his name on the scoresheet.
In other games on the day, Cornwall College got by Green Pond 6-0, last year's beaten DaCosta Cup finalists McGrath left it late as they clipped Charlemont 1-0 Ocho Rios High eased past Tacius Golding 7-0, while BBC Coke blanked Munro 2-0.
