The Jamaica Scorpions were bowled out for 125 in reply to Trinidad and Tobago Red Force 302 all out in the first innings in their first innings on day two of their fifth and final round regional 4-day clash at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
The Red Force opted to enforce the follow on and the Scorpions were 199-5 with captain Jermaine Blackwood making 68, while Leroy Lugg chipped in with 66.
Abijai Mansingh 10 and Aldane Thomas 7, were at the crease at stumps for the Scorpions who currently have an overall lead of 22 runs. Anderson Philip 2-21 and Bryan Charles 2- 68, were the pick of the Red Force bowling.
Meanwhile, the Windward Islands Volcanoes were 14-4 at stumps against the Barbados Pride.
The Windwards seemed in control after bowling out Barbados Pride for 227, 10 runs short of the volcanoes first innings total.
However, in an attempt to extend their lead, Jomel Warrican had the batsmen playing at air, as he claimed 2 for nought from his two overs. Akeem Jordan and Jair McAllister took 1 wicket each.
Elsewhere, Shayne Moseley with 112, led the Leeward Islands Hurricanes to 247 all out against the Guyana Harpy Eagles.
In reply, the Harpy Eagles were 48-1, trailing the Hurricanes by 77 runs when rain prevented any further play.
