Jamaica's Under-21 Sunshine Girls suffered their first loss of the Netball Youth World Cup in Gibraltar after going down 64-33 to England in their top of the table clash on Wednesday.
The young Roses who led from start to finish, were 18-9 up at the end of the first quarter. The lead was stretched from 9 to 19 goals after the first half with 36-17 scoreline at the half time break.
It became a 21 goal lead after the third quarter. That advantage was maintained in the fourth quarter with England getting their 4th straight win of the campaign. They are now the outright leaders of Pool "C" with 8 points, while Jamaica remain second on 6.
Jamaica will next oppose Pool "B" winners Australia on Thursday in the quarter-final round starting 11:00 am Jamaica time.
