Windies make one forced change for third test against England

The West Indies have been forced into a squad change with Akeem Jordan coming in place of seamer Jeremiah Louis who has been ruled out of the series due to a hamstring injury ahead of the third and final test against England at Edgbaston. Louis sustained the injury during the second test as a fielding substitute.

Jordan who was part of the squad in Australia earlier this year, was in England playing divisional cricket and drafted into the squad.

Meanwhile, Gudakesh Motie who missed the second test due to flu, says he is fit and ready to contribute in avoiding a series whitewash.

The Caribbean men surrendered the Richards/Botham Trophy at Trent Bridge last week when they were hammered by 241 runs to go 2-0 down in the three match series.

The West Indies were crushed by an innings and 114 runs in the opener at Lord's, but Guyanese Motie says there is a commitment in the squad to leave the UK with a win.

The West Indies who have not won a test at Edgbaston since 1984, are bottom of the World Test Championship table with one win in their six tests.
