Jennifer Hudson
Academy Award and Grammy-winning actress and artiste Jennifer Hudson is to host a new talk show debuting this autumn.
The one-hour programme, that will air on Fox television stations, will take over the time slot to be left open after the Ellen DeGeneres show ends.
Hudson first rose to fame as a contestant on talent contest American Idol and later became an actress, starring in the hit film Dream Girls as Effie White.
The role would see her winning an Oscar for best supporting actress.
Hudson most recently starred as the legendary 'Queen of Soul' Aretha Franklin in the biopic Respect.
She suffered great tragedy after her mother, brother and young nephew were murdered by her sister's estranged husband in 2008.
