Koffee's performance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Show' postponed

Fans of rising reggae artiste Koffee were left disappointed Thursday night, as her appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show was not broadcast.

The show, which got off to a late start because of the NBA finals, also included an unplanned segment with guest Tom Hanks.

The overrun of Tom's segment forced producers to cancel the airing of the night's musical performance.

In a post on her official Instagram account, Koffee shared that her performance will instead be aired in July.

She also thanked her fans for their continued support and encouraged them to keep an open ear for the announcement of the new date.

Koffee's US TV debut would have followed that of her mentors Chronixx and Protoje.

The 19 year old is also embarking on a school tour that will make stops in other Caribbean countries and a possible performance on Reggae Sumfest.
