Viral dancehall artiste Valiant has seemingly responded to Information Minister Robert Morgan, who recently expressed displeasure with the lyrics of his latest single Dunce Cheque.
While addressing the National Youth Month Church Service in Mandeville last Sunday, Minister Morgan took issue with Valiant's glorification of 'dunce', and questioned why being 'dunce' is considered trendy.
The artiste took to Instagram on Saturday to preview a new single, which included the minister's voice in the intro.
Valiant sings, "Please don't judge me...", adding that he is a work in progress and more needs to be done in the country.
The audio snippet has received the thumbs up from industry players including Beenie Man, Teejay, Skatta Burrell, and Romeich.
Dunce Cheque is the number one trending song on streaming platform YouTube and has been viewed more than 1.6 million times since being released five days ago.
Valiant gained popularity following his viral 'kotch eh hat' video.
He also has the number two trending song on YouTube with the release C.A.L (Cut All Losses).
