Telecommunications firm Flow Jamaica has said it is taking a cautious approach to the impending introduction of 5G technology.
The company's Country Manager, Stephen Price, has described the development as an expensive proposition.
Mr. Price said there are concerns about the affordability of the spectrum and the need for significantly more towers to facilitate signal transmission.
5G technology is expected to revolutionise data usage and increase integration and reliance on mobile services across the consumer and business markets.
