Howard L. Shearer has been appointed to the board of NCB Financial Group.
The son of former Prime Minster Hugh Lawson Shearer took up the post effective March 13.
Mr. Shearer currently serves as Chief Executive of Hitachi Canada.
The company offers products, solutions and digital technologies for the Energy, Healthcare, Transportation, Industrial, and Information Systems sectors.
NCB says he brings to the Board expertise in strategy, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, emerging technologies and enterprise risk management across multiple business domains.
