The main index of the Jamaica Stock Exchange tumbled by 2,280 points on Monday.
A total 58 stocks traded;16 advanced, 33 declined and nine traded firm.
Wigton Energy was the volume leader, followed by TransJamaican Highway and Sagicor Select Funds.
The Junior Market Index also dipped by 35 points.
