Medical Disposables and Supplies Limited is the latest company set to join the junior market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
The company will this Friday launch its initial public offer (IPO) and will make available to investors 63.1 million ordinary shares at J$1.83.
Medical Disposables and Supplies is a distributor of pharmaceutical products and disposable medical supplies as well as a co-distributor of the GlaxoSmithKline Jamaica, Dr. Reddy’s, and Bunny’s pharmaceutical and health care product lines.
The company plans to use the proceeds from the public offer to expand its product ranges and strengthen its capital base for future expansion.
This is the second company in recent weeks to offer its shares to the public ahead of listing on the junior stock market.
DerrimonTrading held its initial public offer a week ago.
