RA Williams lists on JSE Junior Market

 

Pharmaceutical company, RA Williams Distributors Limited, listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange's Junior Market on Wednesday.

 

The company raised $400 million.

 

The offer, which was oversubscribed by 8.25 per cent, closed on July 31.

 

Andre Gooden, Business Development Manager at Jamaica Stock Exchange, said the total capital raised by companies listed on the Junior Market now amounts to more than $22.1 billion.

 

Some $10.5 billion has been raised from IPOs since the start of 2024. 

 

"RA Williams will be the 48th company listed on the Junior Market and the 105th company, representing 156 securities listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange. This total market capitalisation of the company is $2 billion and will increase the market capitalisation of the Junior Market to over $143 billion and the overall market capitalisation now at $1.77 trillion," said Mr. Gooden.
