STATIN [Statistical Institute of Jamaica] has reported that of the 299,800 people aged 15 to 24 years who were outside the labour force in July, 147,000 were females and 152,400, males.
Of the total number of people in this age cohort outside the labour force, 123,200 were not enrolled in education, employment or training programmes.
