The JSE index gained 554 points on Tuesday, while the Junior Market Index lost two points.
Among the 39 winners were: Ciboney Group, Salada Foods Jamaica, Knutsford Express Services, Cargo Handlers and Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances.
The 48 losers included: KLE Group, ISP Finance Services, iCreate, AMG Packaging and Paper Company and JMMB Group 7.15 per cent cumulative redeemable preference shares.
Seventeen stocks closed the session at the same price they opened trading on Tuesday.
