The JSE Main Index lost 947 points on Tuesday, while the Junior Market declined by 54 points.
Among the 43 winners were General Accident Insurance Company, Eppley 7.5 per cent preference shares, GWest Corporation, JMMB Group 5.75 per cent CRP and Express Catering.
The 47 losers were led by Eppley Caribbean Property Fund, Radio Jamaica, Main Event Entertainment Group, Caribbean Cream and Access Financial Services.
Twenty-one stocks closed the session, selling at the same price they started trading.
