The JSE Index gained 3,575 points, while the Junior Market was up three points.
Among the 60 winners were: Margaritaville Turks, Cargo Handlers, 138 Student Living Jamaica VR shares, IronRock Insurance and Berger Paints Jamaica.
The 36 decliners included: Eppley 7.5 per cent preference shares, JFP, Consolidated Bakeries, Main Event Entertainment Group and GWest Corporation.
Twenty stocks closed the session at the same price they started trading.
