The JSE Index gained 2,276 points on Wednesday, while the Junior Market gained 33 points.
Among the 62 winners were: PBS 10.5% cumulative redeemable Jamaican dollar preference shares, IronRock Insurance Company, Mayberry Group, JMMB Group 7% variable Jamaican dollar cumulative redeemable preference shares and Sagicor Select Funds - Financial.
The 31 losers were led by: 138 Student Living Jamaica variable preference shares, AMG Packaging & Paper Company, the Jamaica Stocks Exchange, Caribbean Cream and Access Financial Services.
Sixteen stocks closed the session selling at the same price they opened trading.
