The JSE Index advanced by 1,899 points on Monday, while the Junior Market index declined by 10 points.
The winners included Pulse Investments, Berger, CAC 2000, JMMB 5.75 per cent USD preference shares, and Access Financial Services.
Losers were led by JPS per cent preference shares, Consolidated Bakeries, Sygnus Credit Investments 8 per cent, First Rock Real Estate Investment USD shares and Caribbean Assurance Brokers.
Twenty-three stocks traded firm.
