The JSE Index gained 944 points on Wednesday, while the Junior Market increased by three points.
Among the 44 winners were: Sygnus Credit Investments 8.5 per cent Class E US dollar shares due 2026, Sygnus Credit Investments 10.5 per cent Class C US dollar shares due 2025, Caribbean Flavours and Fragrances, GWest Corporation and FESCO.
The 39 losers were: ISP Finance Services, JMMB Group 8.5 per cent US dollar shares, Jetcon Corporation, Mayberry Group and Elite Diagnostic.
Twenty stocks ended the session trading firm.
