The JSE Index gained 919 points on Tuesday, while the Junior Market index improved by 10 points.
Among the 43 winners were: The LAB, Caribbean Assurance Brokers, Eppley, Dolla Financial Services and JMMB Group 8.5% US dollar shares.
The 46 losers included: Caribbean Cream, ISP Finance Services, Consolidated Bakeries, Sterling Investments and Massy Holdings.
Nineteen stocks traded firm.
