Trade Board looking to identify and resolve Jamaica's export issues

The Trade Board says it is looking to identify and resolve issues surrounding exports from Jamaica.

Retired Major Dr. Hugh Blake, Trade Administrator and Chief Executive Officer at the Trade Board, said the agency has established a "4-E" strategy.

The strategy is based on four pillars intended to educate, enable, expedite and evaluate.

Major Blake said the board is also setting key performance indicators, which have seen a 95 per cent efficiency index.

He said he expects these efficiencies to help boost local exports.
