Jamaica recorded a Covid-19 positivity rate of 52.1 per cent on Friday, when 1,010 new cases of the virus were confirmed from 1,767 samples.
This has moved the country's total infections since the start of the pandemic to 118,727.
Four additional deaths, all from St Catherine, were confirmed.
The death toll is now 2,572.
