The Portland Police yesterday seized approximately 800 pounds of ganja during an operation on Long Road, Manchioneal.
Investigators say 13 individuals were taken into custody.
Two minors are believed to have been among those detained,
According to reports, sometime after nine last evening, the Portland Police were conducting a snap raid in Manchioneal.
Radio Jamaica News understands that a truck with farm produce was stopped on Long Road.
A search of the truck revealed eight parcels of compressed vegetable matter believed to be ganja.
It's understood that it weighs about eight hundred pounds.
