Jamaica has recorded nearly 200 road fatalities since the start of the year.
Some 199 road deaths have been recorded since January 1.
The latest victim is a 22-year-old female driver.
She was killed on the weekend along the AGR Byfield Highway in St. Ann.
About 2 p.m. Saturday, the woman was driving her 2013 Toyota Corolla along the roadway when she reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
She sustained multiple injuries when the vehicle slammed into a light pole.
