The motorist who was reportedly involved in Tuesday night's deadly hit and run on the Thornton Main Road in St Elizabeth is now in police custody.
Radio Jamaica News has been informed that he turned himself in to the Black River Police today, accompanied by his attorney and relatives.
He is scheduled to be questioned over the weekend.
The motorist was being sought in connection with Tuesday night's incident which claimed the life of 69 year old Clovis Allen.
