Another child mauled by dogs

The police are probing another incident in which a child has been mauled by dogs.
 
The latest incident took place on Tuesday in the Manning's Hills community in St. Andrew.
 
A 65-year-old man was also injured.
 
Superintendent Aaron Fletcher, head of the St. Andrew North Police, told Radio Jamaica News that a German Shepherd belonging to a relative of the victims, broke lose from its chain and attacked the child.
 
The child was bitten in the face and all over the body. 
 
The adult intervened but was also bitten on the leg. He was treated and released from hospital. The five-year-old boy has been hospitalised in serious condition. 
 
The latest attack comes weeks after five-year-old Mickele Allen was attacked by dogs in St. Dacre, St. Ann.
 
Mickele is now in the United States where he has undergone several surgeries.
