Councillor Delroy Williams set to be sworn in as Kingston's Mayor today.

Amid signs that the People's National Party (PNP) might not contest the magisterial recount for the Rae Town Division, the newly elected members of the Kingston & St. Andrew Municipal Corporation will be sworn in today.

Delroy Williams is set to be sworn in as Mayor of Kingston.

The ceremony was delayed last week to facilitate the Rae Town recount which took place on Tuesday and in which the Jamaica Labour Party's Rosalie Hamilton won by one vote.

The JLP has 21 divisions in the Kingston & St. Andrew Municipal Corporation and the People's National Party 19.
