Curfew extended for Central Clarendon

The curfew which was imposed in Effortville, Clarendon last week has been extended.
 
Senior Superintendent Glenford Miller, head of the Clarendon Police, told Radio Jamaica News that the extension took effect on Tuesday.
 
The curfew will continue until 6 o'clock Thursday evening.
 
Minister of National Security Dr. Horace Chang last Friday announced a 96-hour curfew for Central Clarendon, including Effortville, where five residents were killed within 48 hours.
